چکیده:

Lay on the northothercoast of the Persian Gulf, Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Company (STPC) isthe first producer of Pure Terephatalic Acid (PTA) and Poly Ethylene Terephatalat (PET).In 1998, targeting the production of over 350,000 tons/year of PTA and 412,000 tons/year PET, STPC joined to other petrochemical producing plants in Iran. As a basic petrochemical unit among Iranian manufacturing plants, STPC’s products are fed to numerous downstream manufacturing of plastics, textile fibers plasticizers and other petrochemical-based products.STPC faced serious problems during construction as below:Delays in mechanical completionDelays in commissioning and start up of plantsDelays in plants performance test , Whereas most of these issues return to contract and contractors, this article is focused on mentioned contexts.
