چکیده:

This paper focuses on a Z-Source AC-AC converter with a specific topology which can operate in both buck and boost modes. This converter has only two switches, and switches’ commands, which are complemented, can be implemented easily. Besides, the equations of a multi-phase ZSource AC-AC converter are obtained. Furthermore, a novel arrangement of the Z-Source AC-AC converter is proposed, to solve the problem that needs several single-phase sources, and harmonic effects of these converters are investigated with Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) factor. Finally, using computer simulation, with an RL and Induction Motor (IM) loads, its high performance is verified, and the effects of these loads on the converter are compared.
